Corberán: "The draw feels like too little because we wanted the win. The team gave everything and was closer to the three points than RCD Espanyol"
The Valencia CF coach reflects on the match against RCD Espanyol
He’s played 35 matches in the top European competition and is the footballer with the most matches of the squad in Champions League. He knows what it is to play Champions League at Old Trafford as he played with SL Benfica obtaining a 2-2 draw, the same point they added in their home match.
In his interview with VCF MEDIA he affirms: “It's a beautiful scenario to play, we can't forget the fact we are playing a nice competition, we have to enjoy it. But we also have the responsability to fight for that victory and we are all well aware of that”.
The team is exciting about competiting in such a scenario as historical Old Trafford, but he knows what the team is capable of doing: “My teammates and I are motivated to play hard and do our best to try and get the win in this stadium. It will be tough but we have a strong team to make good things happen here”.
